Ancient Artificer

The Lost temple of Artifice, inhabited by ‘Scarpes’, was for eons the prison of the right hand of Balrom. But who is this random God?
His name is lost to history, but some cultures recall him as ‘Bridge’, founder of pre-planned structures, instruction manuals and blueprints. He is also recalled by mythology as one of the ‘Wallmakers’ (assisted Fate in the construction of the Wall), though it has never been recognised that ‘Bridge’ and the ‘Wallmaker’ are one and the same deity. It maybe that he was once one of the great dwarven architects who designed the Wall. His emblem is the Scorpion, which might be because the claws and sting represent the cranes and clamps used in constuction, or possibly because of their resilience and hardiness. Or because all the better animals were taken.
